Generosity Collection
Interpretation of the fable "The Dog and his Shadow" by the artist Jan Bajtlik.
This fable encourages us to appreciate what others have without feeling jealousy or the desire to take what they have, and to cultivate a more generous approach. Covetousness and temptation must be repressed under penalty of serious disillusionment, to be replaced by a desire to "have more" that is not at the expense of others. It also invites us not to be fooled by deceptive appearances, a timely message in a world saturated with sometimes misleading images.
