Interpretation of the tale The father, the son and the donkey by the artist Klara Kristalova.
This tale is inspired by Nasr Eddin Hodja, a character from the 13th century century known throughout the Middle East. This story shows us that no matter what we say or do, people will always have some criticism. So let us work and move forward in accordance with our heart. As for good advice and judgments from others, let us take the best and leave them the rest.

About the Artist:

Klara Kristalova was born in Prague, in the former Czechoslovakia in 1967, and moved to Sweden with her parents when was was one years old. She studied at the Royal University College of Fine Art in Stockholm and now lives in Norrtälje, Sweden. Made of glazed ceramic, Klara Kristalova's figures succeed in conveying human emotions such as fear, love, sadness and guilt that emerge from his work like memories of our own childhood. The emotion that emerges from his Donkey, refers to the vulnerability that a child could have in the face of the gaze of others and to this steep path which leads to self-confidence.
